Event Horizon

For his first full length album, milez created a free none profit project. Full of samples, sound bites, and movie clips that really give you an idea of who milez is fundamentally. It’s definitely a kick back and smoke to album that touches on some hard hitting topics. The production could be much better but for a free mix tape type of album it’s definitely worth a listen.

Mile 4

Producer and engineer Sto0d out of Hawaii collaborates with Milez on a short but sweet  ep titled Mile 4, reflecting its 4 song track list. It’s a change of pace for Milez that leaves you wanting more. Sto0d’s unique style and features from Newborn, Havein, Ja$on, and Redhead make Mile 4 unlike anything Milez has put together. A must listen for wide ranging fans of hip hop.

EZ

Getting back to a more familiar sound from Milez, fellow Sky Limit artist illnealchi of ballhard productions puts together 6 great beats that allow Milez to touch on topics ranging from samurai, to family, to politics. Showing off his word play and lyrical ability this ep really shows the potential this emcee has and is determined to show.

The Boogie feat. Boogie James

Fellow Sky Limit artist Boogie James produced single The Boogie is the last song we heard from Milez in 2018, with promise of a lot of new music in 2019 The Boogie really sets the tone for what we may hear from Milez moving forward. The Boogie brings together Philly bars, a boom bap hook, and a Texas sound to make a Cigarland (Garland, Texas) anthem.

One of these days

Producer Anthony Ren puts together a smooth and soulful sampled beat for Milez to speak to his kids on. Using a fill the shoes of your father concept to drive the song home. Definitely a laid back deeper vibe compared to the last single (the boogie)

Soul Love (feat. Milez)

Milez teams up with the emcee and producer, P@$$i0n P of Free the World Records, for a deep and introspective song unlike anything we have really heard from milez before. The song is called soul love and is about knowing and loving your soul. “Know the worth of your soul, or it ain’t coming back” ‘Milez

2EZ

The sequel to last years solo ep, 2EZ continues in the same vain that it’s predecessor did. With each song sharing concepts and or being a straight up sequel  to its counter part on the first EZ project, like “To The Sky 2” or “Still Tired” for example. Once again illNealchi goes nuts with the beats and soul samples, and Milez finds his comfort zone in that sound perfectly. With crazy word play and an attention to lyrics that isn’t so common in today’s hip hop world 2EZ is a great listen with high replay value.

Dizzy

Another single by Milez that connects Cigarland (Garland Texas) and Philadelphia. Cigarland native LOWKEYG with the beat and art work, and Milez with word play that we’ve come to expect when we hear him. A laid back song best enjoyed when partaking in activities not unlike the content spoken about in the lyrics.
